ACSian Theatre visits Assisi Hospice

In June, the JC1 Theatre members participated in a VIA project to run a face-painting booth in the Assisi Fun Day 2017. The Fun Day aimed to raise funds for the patients of Assisi Hospice. Doubtful at first of our abilities in the skill of face-painting, we practised diligently prior to the event to ensure that the customers of our booth receive products which were equivalent to their price. The meaning behind the event truly inspired us to do our best in running our booth to the best of our capabilities. On the day itself, immersed in an atmosphere of enjoyment, our booth ran efficiently as many children and adults alike were attracted to the paint designs. In attending to the booth’s patrons, our theatre members certainly have internalised the importance of serving those in need for a bigger purpose. We would like to express our gratitude to our teachers for coordinating this meaningful opportunity in giving back to the community and our senior theatre members for their advice and support. We would also like to thank God for His ever-present guidance throughout this journey.
