ACJC Triumphs at the National Inter-School Golf Competition

From the 7th to the 9th of April 2014, the ACJC Golf Team competed in the 14th National Inter-school Golf Competition.
Despite the sweltering heat and the challenging terrain (the undulating Marina Bay Golf Course), our golfers did the school proud by repeating 2012’s double gold victory for the team events. Congratulations to the boys (James Leow of 1SB3 and Jovan Lai of 2SC6) and girls teams (Ariel Lee of 2AD3 and Wong Yen Ting of 1AD2)!
In the individual events, James Leow achieved the gold medal in the boys division, and Ariel Lee achieved a silver medal while Wong Yen Ting achieved a bronze medal in the girls division.
We thank God for keeping the skies clear on all our competition days and for keeping us safe.
We also thank the principals, teachers, friends and teacher-in-charge, Mr Calvin Choo, for their unwavering support and encouragement.
To God be the Glory, the Best is Yet to Be.
By Alisha Teo (2SC3), Captain of the ACJC Golf Team
