Another Barrel of Laughs

'I will find humor in my everyday life by looking for people I can laugh at' - Anonymous
On the 11th and 12th January 2013, the alumni of ACSian Theatre came together to put up a hilarious production entitled “Another Barrel of Laughs”. The production sought to bring delight to the audience, by creating a great escape from the doldrums of everyday life with a series of six tongue-in-cheek plays. Ensemble directed and featuring the cast of alumni members of ACSian Theatre, the performance unleashed yet Another Barrel of Laughs.
Staged at ACJC’s very own black box, the fun filled and energetic performance was truly a reflection of the artistry the alumni possessed. Ranging from farce, wit, irony, slapstick and dark humour, the audience was enthralled as they were rolling on the floor in fits of laughter!

It was a memorable two nights for the alumni as it was an opportunity to perform once more at their alma mater, reliving the good old performance days and rekindling the bonds of friendship. On behalf of the alumni of ACSian Theatre, we would like to thank the principals of ACJC for the opportunity for us to share our love and passion for the stage and comedy; The teachers in charge, Mrs Geetha Creffield, Miss Michelle Lim, and Mr Joel Chin; All family and friends who have joined us in the two nights! For more of ACSian Theatre productions do catch the upcoming performance of ‘Crucible’ on 28th, 29th, 30th March 2013.
