ACJC's President's Scholar Demonstrates Individual Success Through Community Support

ACJC was glad to have Joshua Jesudason (Valedictorian, Class of 2012) come to share his experience with the students of ACJC.

Joshua was awarded the President's Scholarship (2013) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Overseas Scholarship (2013) for his academic achievements, as well as his accomplishments as a student leader. Through his sharing, Joshua demonstrated the need for servant-leadership, putting the needs of the community first.

Joshua and his Principals
Joshua firmly believes that individual success is built on the support of those around him, and his community includes his parents, teachers at Farifield Methodist Primary and Secondary Schools, ACJC, and a wide circle of peers, seniors, and juniors. A clear example to the students of his alma mater, Joshua actively involved himself in social work both overseas and locally during his time at school while maintaining leadership positions within ACJC as the Debate Captain.

Joshua was inspiring as he related how his personal growth was aligned with his passion for giving back to the community. Joshua will read History and Politics at Balliol College at Oxford. ACJC wishes him great adventures and success in his endeavors. The Best is Yet to Be!
